Since 2007, Yeditepe University has been continuing its T&CM education and practices, especially acupuncture, under the title of Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) in accordance with the 2014 T&CM regulation and is recognized as a reference center in this regard. The most important purpose of YUGETAT is to conduct research, practice, training, consultancy, and promotion of traditional and complementary medicine practices, especially acupuncture, phytotherapy, and ozone therapy, within the framework of the sense of duty towards the public health of a contemporary university.

In our newsletter, we introduce you to some T&CM methods such as phytotherapy, acupuncture, ozone therapy, osteopathy, and musicotherapy. In addition, although there is no T&CM method, we also present the articles titled "cancer and exercise", "nutrition in cancer", "dance with cancer" and "yoga as a way to peace", which we think will be very useful when we consider our patients not only with the diagnosed disease but also physically and spiritually as a whole.
